Meet Sarah Probst, LPC-S

FOUNDER

Sarah Probst, LPC-S uses trauma-informed, state of the art therapies to address PTSD, depression, anxiety, attachment disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, sleep disorders, migraines, and OCD.

Sarah grew up in the New Orleans area and was displaced to Portland, Oregon as a result of hurricane Katrina. Since then, Sarah has lived in China, studied trauma-informed aftercare for children rescued from sex trafficking in Cambodia, attended Seminary in Portland, Or where she earned a degree in Ministry & Leadership, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling.

After obtaining her degrees and completing her internships, Sarah established Pneuma Counseling in 2015 where she has continued to learn and practice both Biblical and neuroscientific approaches to mental healing.

Sarah founded Brain Parlor because she wanted to offer holistic mental health options to her community;

Meet Sarah Johnson, BCN

NEUROFEEDBACK EXPERT

Sarah was born in Colorado and spent her early childhood growing up in Glenwood Springs. At the age of seven she moved to Mandeville, Louisiana graduating from Fontainebleau High School with Honors and as State Champion in soccer.In 2013 she was awarded undergraduate degrees from Louisiana State University where she studied Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. Sarah has continued her education with EEG Education & Research, Inc. at the Institute for Applied Neuroscience and is BCIA Certified in Neurofeedback. Her passion is to see people become the best version of themselves and thrive as individuals, just like the driving principles behind the field of Neurofeedback! In her spare time, she practices photography, studies art, and loves to spend time in nature with her two dogs.

Julie Dunbar

Julie grew up in a small town called Bunkie Louisiana. She is an LSU graduate with a BA degree in History and a BS degree in Rehabilitation Services. She has experience working with a diverse population of cultures and people. Her experience includes providing services to mentally and physically challenged adults in Supported Employment and Vocational Rehabilitation. She also worked as a Paraeducator in the public systems providing services to special needs students in the classroom. Her passion is in helping others and giving hope to those who think they are all alone in this world.
